Auggie’s Bistro 2018 – January 19

Ladies! That time is once again near when, after weeks of menu planning and never-ending time in the kitchen through the Christmas season, you’re ready to sit down amongst friends, with a glass of wine in hand, and have someone else make you a sumptuous meal! Right?

Auggie’s Bistro, ladies, is a once-in-a-year chance to witness and experience, first-hand, a ragged “team” of Christian men, trying to pull off what you can do without even a whimper or sigh; create and serve a memorable (in the positive sense, of course) gourmet meal. Intended for the ladies of the parish – and any female friends they’d like to bring along – this multi-course dinner is a fitting start to another year.

Doors will open at 6pm – please enter via the main door and hang up your coat in the narthex – and dinner is scheduled to be served at 6:30.

Cost is $25 per lady, $30 if you’d like wine with your dinner. There’s a sign-up sheet in the narthex that will remain there until Wednesday, January 17.

As always, the menu is top secret; not even the kitchen crew knows what’s to be served until they arrive at work that afternoon – so don’t be asking the chef!

St. Patrick’s Day Event

The feast day of the patron saint of Ireland falls on a Saturday this year — and we’re going to take advantage of it!

Clue: Ceilidh.
